Dedicated to two great minds, Robert Moog and Philip K. Dick. Recently, I read the novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep and felt inspired to create some sci-fi themed music. These incredible Moog synthesizers gave me the exact sounds I was looking for. I hope you enjoy the short video and check out some of my other work here!
Moog Rumba
For this video Moog Rumba I wanted to try something different then what I’ve done in the past. Recently I updated to Ableton Live 11 and I thought it would be cool to try some afro-cuban rhythms that have always been a big influence on me in music. I decided to try a rumba inspired beat on the DFAM and see how it goes, since there are only eight steps in the sequence I went with a half time version. I might try using the Mother-32 next time for the beat because it would give me more room to work with, but I figured this was a start. I’m happy with how the sound turned out the Subharmonicon, Matriarch, and Grandmother blended nicely with the other semi-modular synthesizers; it really gave the whole song a different feel. I look forward to trying more of these great rhythmic patterns in the future. Check out my other videos here!
Moog Saturday Afternoon
Decided to spend my Saturday afternoon making a new song with the Moog semi-modular crew. This time I wanted to use the Matriarch for some house synth stabs. I was really happy with how the overall sound turned out the Subharmonicon is using the SEQ2 to VCO1 patch which extends SEQ 1 to 64 steps and has been a cool new functionality to explorer. The DFAM is playing the kick and snare while I have a drum rack in Ableton Live 10 playing the hihats and snare rim. Looking forward to you feedback hope you enjoy this new video!
Moog Synthesizer Quintet
Setup the 3-tier rack for the Moog Mother-32, Subharmonicon, and DFAM. Thought I’d make a video of my first patch with all of them linked together in their new home. Included the Minitaur for some solid bass and the Grandmother for the sweet lead line. A lot of fun for my first recording, can’t wait to make more with this improved setup.
Moog Sirin solo

I’ve been working on a new song using the Moog Sirin and wanted to share how much I enjoy this analog synthesizer. It is truly an Analog Messenger Of Joy that produces a rich, bold sound, while still being compact and portable. The Sirin’s unique voice sings over other tracks, making it a great choice for that ripping solo! There’s a common misconception that expensive hardware is better, but we shouldn’t forget about finding that sweet spot, where price and quality meet. The Moog Sirin is a great example of when a high quality analog synthesizer becomes more accessible to the average musician. I’m also thankful for the great customer support I received from Moog when I needed to install wood panels. This synth is everything I’d hoped for, and I couldn’t be happier.
Moog Sirin unboxing
Just got the Moog Sirin looking forward to hearing it sing. Thought this would be a good chance the to make an unboxing video in case anyone else was interested in purchasing one themselves!
Mother-32 Jam
I watched this Moog Music video on YouTube it was really helpful in finding a new way to use the sequencer!
